This fine stone-built holiday home is in the heart of the Belper Conservation area, near the old village of mill-workers' houses known locally as The Clusters. The Chapel, a Grade II listed building, dates from 1817, and is close to the town centre of Belper, a market town on the doorstep of the Derbyshire Peak District National Park.
The town offers many handy shops, including some that are glad to deliver to you, a wealth of real ale and family style pubs, live music and disco-bars, and an excellent range of restaurants.
Clusters Chapel is one of those rare properties that can accommodate with ease the really large group seeking a well-equipped, comfortable and good value holiday base for that family holiday or special gathering! There's a huge 40ft galleried and beamed lounge (18ft ceiling), a wealth of bathrooms and some en-suite facilities, extra ground floor sitting room, easy to spread out and the fully-fitted kitchen includes a range oven. Please note that one of the bedrooms on the gallery has a roomy single bed with a 4ft bed.
The secluded private and enclosed garden has a brick barbecue and two picnic tables for summer use, and there is private parking for up to 4 vehicles just to the rear of the Chapel, which is reached via Bridge Street and Cluster Road, with a short stroll back to Clusters Chapel access via Crown Terrace. There are two parking places at the Cedars where the keys are collected and other nearby short-stay and long-stay car parks.
The entrance to Clusters Chapel is via ‘Baptist Chapel Yard, which is the alleyway between the Rifleman’s Arms pub and ‘The Taj of Belper’ take-away.

Just emailing to say a huge thank you for all of your help with the weekend, both in booking and the logistical information you gave me. It was a great weekend and the accommodation was fantastic, and we would definitely love to come and stay at The Old Baptist Chapel again in the future. Mr Sadan December 2016
